BloomKeeper Co-op: Player Count and Team Coordination
What the developer confirms about four-player co-op, why multiplayer changes the challenge, and how to organise a group.
Up to four players
BloomKeeper's developer describes co-op for up to four players, with challenges adapting to the number of players. That is not the same as four people making an unchanged solo encounter easier. The demo description says co-op becomes available after its tutorial.
We have not verified every lobby-screen step, cross-play, local split-screen or save-ownership rule. Follow the current in-game multiplayer options; do not infer those features from the word “co-op.”
Agree on jobs before moving the colony
The developer gives examples of players gathering Pouics, moving them forward and dealing with Malpouics. A useful team agreement is to name one current destination and decide who is moving the group, who is watching stragglers and who is checking the surrounding threat. Rotate these jobs when the situation changes; they are not fixed character classes.
Use short, specific calls such as the destination you are aiming for or the group that needs attention. If two players keep nudging in different directions, pause to agree on the route rather than assuming the game has assigned different objectives. This is communication advice, not a tested optimal formation.
Before you report a multiplayer problem
Note each player's game version, whether you are in the demo or full game, and which stage of joining failed. Keep a screenshot of the visible error rather than changing several settings at once. See patch notes for known changes, and controls to distinguish a connection problem from an unfamiliar action.
